Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Velox (the “Service”), operated by Velox (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, and should notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Velox is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin. We sync data from your Garmin account with your authorisation. We never store your Garmin password — only an encrypted access token used to fetch your data, which you can revoke at any time by disconnecting.

Because this connection is unofficial, Garmin may change or restrict it at any time, and syncing may be interrupted or stop working without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to your Garmin data.

Velox offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” subscription ($12.99 a month or $129.99 a year, charged in your local currency) billed through Stripe. Paid plans begin with a 7-day free trial; unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for successive billing periods.

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing and will keep Pro access until the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments for partial periods are non-refundable. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Training plans, race predictions, run analysis and injury-risk insights are generated using AI together with established physiological models. They are provided for general informational purposes only and are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any training programme, particularly if you have a health condition or injury.

You retain ownership of the data you provide and import (your account details and Garmin data). You grant us a limited licence to process this data solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, disrupting it, reverse-engineering it, reselling it, or using it to break the law or infringe another person's rights.

The Service — including its software, design and content (excluding your data) — is owned by Velox and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

The Service relies on third parties, including Garmin (data source), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (AI). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any injury or outcome arising from your training decisions, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will communicate material changes via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
